Post Title: EFL/English Language Instructor (Bilingual & Native English Speaking)

Location: Saudi Arabia

Package/salary: Competitive salary, personal flight/travel allowance, end of service benefit, accommodation/allowance, health insurance, in-country transport/allowance, mobilization/demobilization flights at start/end of contract

Hours/Holidays: 40 hours per week, Saturday-Wednesday
Holidays - 30 days per year + public holidays

Contract: Single status, Saudi contract subject to Saudi labour law

Start Date: August 2013

We have some new and exciting requirements for EFL Teachers to work at brand new colleges in Saudi Arabia. These colleges will eventually grow to a capacity of 3000 students, will offer training programs to male Saudi students leading to vocational qualifications at a range of levels in a variety of subjects including English, mathematics and employability skills.

EFL Teachers at the new college will work together in a team led by a Curriculum Leader delivering a well-structured program of English Language to an initial intake of up to 800 students.

We welcome applications from Native English Speakers and Bilingual (Arabic/English) speakers with a high proficiency in English, preferably with teaching experience in an environment where English is not spoken as a first language.

Post Requirements/Candidate Profile:
• Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in English) and a recognized teaching qualification
• Minimum CELTA level qualification or an equivalent recognized TEFL teaching qualification
• 2+ yearsexperience of teaching English as foreign language to adults/young adults
• Previous experience in the Middle East preferred or a practical awareness of cultural issues
• Excellent communication, presentation and IT skills
• Experience or working within the Middle East or with Arab learners would be advantageous
• Native English and Bilingual speakers with an excellent command of the English language
• Must be available for an August 2013 start
